Thanksgiving Holiday Slide Schedule
Garbage & recycling services will slide one day beginning Thursday, November 27. There will be no collection of regularly scheduled garbage, recycling, or yard trimming pick-up services in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
Thanksgiving collection schedule is:
Thursday customers: Collection on Friday, November 28
Friday customers: Collection on Saturday, November 29
The Pay-as-You-Throw regular collection schedule will resume for garbage, recycling and yard trimmings on Monday, December 1
Sony is sponsoring an e-waste recycling events in Austin December 6. Any brand of electronics, such as televisions, computer monitors, computer systems, VCRs, DVDs, cameras, phones, stereo equipment, videogame consoles, keyboards, cables, scanners, printers, fax machines, ink jet and printer cartridges, phones (including cellular), computer mice and rechargeable batteries will be accepted at the event.
