Organics Cart

Food scraps, food-soiled paper and yard trimmings only in the green organics cart. Remember, place yard trimmings directly in the green cart.

If you are unable to fit all of your yard trimmings in your cart:

• Bag extra yard trimmings in lawn-and-leaf paper bags or a reusable container that is no larger than 34-gallons and no heavier than 50 pounds and place at the curb
• Tie small branches into manageable bundles with string or twine and place at the curb

Recycling Cart

Recyclables only in the blue recycling cart. Include hard plastic containers labeled #1-7, office paper, corrugated cardboard and boxboard, glass (jars and bottles), metal and tin cans, and clean aluminum cans, aluminum foil, metal baking tins and metal pie plates.

Trash Cart

Place items that cannot be recycled, donated or composted in the brown trash cart. Remember, food scraps and food-soiled paper are compostable! Place them in the green organics cart, not in the trash cart.
