Explore Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in this foundation class. Each class will tackle a different program and go over layout, navigation, tool sets, layers, and basic functions. Once you have the basics, you will have the foundation for on the job work or fun personal projects. Requires purchasing own supplies, see supply list page.

Adobe Illustrator 101

Adobe Illustrator will cover vector graphics such as: shape morphing, masks, filters, perspective, blends, and other techniques will introduce dynamic opportunities to upgrade your design skills. Adobe InDesign 101

Adobe Photoshop 101

Photoshop can be a challenge if you don’t know where to begin. This class covers the foundations of Adobe Photoshop and moves on to brushes, blending, masking, stamping, and more. Instruction in navigation, basic file use, printing practices, layers, and selections will help make this program easier to navigate. Requires purchasing own supplies, see supply list page.

Digital Portrait Painting Workshop

Learn to transfer your portrait drawing and painting skills to Adobe Photoshop using a Wacom drawing tablet. Classes cover using layers, blends, and a variety of brushes to create with greater control and speed than with traditional mediums. Requires purchasing own supplies, see supply list page.

The digital world has advanced tremendously over the past few years. The Digital Arts program focuses on graphic design. Programs provide instruction in the foundational skills needed for the student to successfully maneuver through the development of their graphic designs. Students ages 15-17 may register with Arts School permission.
