This information includes updates for the City of Austin and Travis County concerning community services, road closures, emergency shelters, and other special circumstances. Storms have caused significant damage to Spicewood Springs Road between Old Lampasas and Loop 360. Travis County crews are working to clear the roadway and hope to have it open Thursday evening. Preliminary reports indicate major damage to Low Water Crossing 1 which is at the Southern end of the road segment, closest to Loop 360. It will remain closed for repairs which may take several weeks.
