The Austin Housing Finance Corporation (the "Issuer") will hold a public hearing on May 23 to receive comment on providing permanent financing for the acquisition and rehabilitation of approximately 279 unit multi-family residential units at the Rebekah Baines Johnson Apartments in East Austin.
The public hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on May 23, 2019 at Austin City Hall, 301 W. Second Street, Austin, Texas 78701.
The proposal is to issue bonds (the "Bonds") the proceeds of which will be loaned to AGC RBJ, LLC, a Texas limited partnership, or an affiliate of AGC RBJ, LLC, (the "Borrower"), to provide permanent financing for the acquisition and construction of an approximately 279 unit multi-family residential units to be known as RBJ Apartments and located near 21 Waller St., Austin, Texas (the "Project") for individuals and families of low and moderate income and marketed to seniors. The maximum aggregate face amount of the Bonds is anticipated to be $37,000,000.
All interested parties are invited to submit written comments to the Issuer prior to the time set for the public hearing or to attend the public hearing and express any comments they may have regarding the Project or the Bonds.
