The Police Activities League of Austin (PAL), a community outreach program initiated by Chief of Police Art Acevedo in 2007, will be hosting their 4th Annual Boxing Camp from Monday, June 25, 2012 through Saturday, June 30, 2012.

Boys and girls, ages 12-17 years old, can pick up registration forms at the Pan Am Recreation facility located at 2100 E. 3rd Street. The attendees will be taught about life skills, fitness, nutrition, and boxing. There will also be a free boxing show on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 6 p.m.
PAL is designed to support at-risk youth in our community by offering these children a safe place to gather and enjoy educational and social benefits, as well as athletic opportunities. The goal of the program is to prevent and combat juvenile delinquency and to promote and improve the moral and civic standards of youth.
