Update:
On Tuesday, April 14, 2020 Francisco Jay Llanas was charged with 1st degree murder in the March 13, 2020 shooting of Oscar San Juan Jaimes. Llanas shot and killed Oscar San Juan Jaimes in a drive by shooting in the 2200 block of E. Stassney Ln.
He is currently in custody in the Travis County Jail with a bond of $500,000. Additional charges against Llanas are pending.

Initial Release from March 14, 2020:
On Friday, March 13, 2020, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Austin 9-1-1 received multiple calls regarding shots fired in the 2200 block of E. Stassney Lane. Callers stated it was a drive-by shooting and one person had been shot. Officers and Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on scene and located Oscar San Juan Jaimes with life-threatening injuries. Jaimes was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced deceased at 11:54 p.m.
Homicide detectives spoke with witnesses and received information indicating this incident is the result of an ongoing feud between known subjects. However, Jaimes was only visiting the address and may not have been the intended target.
