AUSTIN, Texas – Frontier Airlines brought seven, new nonstop destinations to Austin, which launched over a three day period, the grand finale of which was new nonstop service between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Charleston International Airport (CHS) on April 10, 2018. The six additional new, nonstop destinations added by Frontier this April are Jacksonville, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Omaha, Providence and Reno. The launch celebration featured a live music performance by Bonnie Whitmore, a ribbon cutting, cake and remarks from airport officials.
“The greater Austin and Central Texas communities continue to respond well to our Low Fares Done Right philosophy,” said Josh Flyr, Vice President of network planning and revenue for Frontier Airlines. “With 30 destinations now available, we are the second largest carrier at Austin Bergstrom in terms of cities served.”
In February, Frontier continued its commitment to Austin by nearly doubling the number of non-stop destinations it served to 30 cities, with 14 new low fare options to/from (AUS). Seven of those new routes are new nonstop destinations for Austin, only available on Frontier. Flights are currently available for booking at https://www.flyfrontier.com/.
