18 locations that were affected by flood have been assessed.
As of 5:30 pm, The Public Works Department has assessed 18 right-of-way locations that were affected by the 2015 Halloween flood event. Of those locations, Fallwell Lane and Brandt Road remain closed until further notice.
Fallwell Lane is closed between Guerrero Drive and Texas toll road 130.
Crews have two lanes open from 130 to the east (Sand Hill Energy Plant and South Austin Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant)
The intersection of Fallwell and 130 service road remains 1 lane.
Coordination is ongoing with AWU and Austin Energy to map assets and assess immediate needs.
Work will begin placing fill material and cleanup of failure areas.
Work continues on installation of traffic barriers to undermined pavement sections.
Austin Transportation Department (ATD) has installed striping and delineators to convert a portion of the 130 service road to two-way traffic and provide access.
Brandt Road between Brents Elm Drive and Anahuac Trail is closed as crews perform emergency repairs.
Weather permitting Crews will have repairs completed and the road opened to two way traffic around Noon Thursday.
The Public Works Department will send notification when the roadway is reopened.
Crews have installed message boards to assist with alternative routes.
