Flood Assistance Center will be open until at least Saturday, Nov. 14.
The Flood Assistance Center (FAC), at Dove Springs Recreation Center, will remain open to service flood survivors in Austin and Travis County until Saturday, Nov. 14, or longer if needed.
The FAC hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Tuesday, Nov. 10, and from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. from Wednesday, Nov. 11 through Saturday, Nov. 14.
Over the weekend, the Center served an average of 74 households daily, including an average of 32 new households daily.
Over the coming week, some services offered at the FAC will transition to regular service locations. Information about service locations will be available at the FAC or by dialing 3-1-1 or 512-974-2000.

In addition, the Central Texas American Red Cross will continue to provide services at the FAC. The Red Cross also continues to operate the Dittmar Recreation Center shelter. The shelter remains open and is currently servicing about 90 guests.
Officers will be assigned to flood-affected areas 24/7 to patrol and respond to citizen questions and assist when needed. APD has staff on-site at both the Dittmar and Dove Springs recreation centers.
