Earth Camp wins first place Keep Texas Beautiful Award

Award recognizes programs that promote environmental education

Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) announced that the Watershed Protection Department's (WPD) Earth Camp program won the 2012 first place Off Campus youth education award. The award is one of twelve categories in the Keep Texas Beautiful Youth & Educator Awards and recognizes outstanding programs that encourage and demonstrate efforts to promote environmental education.

Award winners were recognized at KTB's Youth & Educators Awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 27, at KTB's 45th Annual Conference. A full list of award winners, as well as more information about the conference can be found at www.ktb.org.
