Additional operational changes follow the Austin-Travis County Health Authority's move to COVID-19 Stage 5 community risk level.

The City of Austin has announced revised service schedules and office closures for City facilities and public services for the Christmas holiday.

Note on COVID-19 Stage 5: The following information includes additional alterations due to the Austin-Travis County Health Authority's decision on December 23 to move to COVID-19 Stage 5 community risk level.

Customers who would normally have their weekly collection on Friday, Dec. 25, will slide one day and receive their regularly scheduled collections on Saturday, December 26. Download the Austin Recycles App or visit austintexas.gov/myschedule to look up your collection schedule.

COVID-19 Stage 5 Update: Austin Resource Recovery regular curbside services will not change. However, the Recycle and Reuse Drop-off Center will be closed to the public, beginning on December 24.
