Location: Wells Fargo Bank, 500 E. Ben White Blvd.
On Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at approximately 12:10 p.m., Austin Police officers and members of the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force responded to a Bank Robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 500 E. Ben White Blvd. The suspect entered the bank and presented a note demanding money. The suspect left the scene in a white 2006-2010 "Eddie Bauer" edition Ford Explorer with silver trim and running boards. No injuries were reported.
Suspect described as:
• White Male
• Approx. mid 30’s
• Approx. 6’ tall, 185 Lbs
• Short brown hair and goatee
Suspect was last seen wearing:
• Blue/Orange Texas Longhorns hat
• Blue long-sleeved button up shirt
• Blue Jeans
• Cowboy boots
• Orange Texas Longhorns backpack
Suspect Vehicle is described as:
• White 2006-2010 "Eddie Bauer" edition Ford Explorer with silver trim and running boards.
• Vehicle has back tinted windows.
