I am so excited to share with you the Development Services Department’s first-ever digital annual report: Transforming the Development Experience.

This annual report highlights the progress we made this year toward our long-term, strategic goals and highlights the process improvements, technology enhancements, and stakeholder engagement work that helped us end this unprecedented year on a positive note.
 
I realize conditions this past year have made some of your work more challenging than ever before. With that in mind, I am very proud of DSD’s efforts to continue providing essential services for Austin’s $1 billion construction industry and area residents, and I am pleased to share that story with you.

We look forward to introducing you to the brand-new Permitting and Development Center when the time is right to resume in-person services. Until then, I am grateful that we have the tools, processes and people in place to continue modified operations.
