AUSTIN, TEXAS – Allegiant Air has announced new, twice weekly, nonstop service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and seasonal service to Destin / Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. (VPS). The Austin-Destin flights will start on May 4, 2017 and the Austin-Indianapolis flights will launch on May 19. To celebrate, the company is offering one-way fares on the routes for as low as $56. Tickets are only available at www.allegiantair.com.

Allegiant flights to Indianapolis depart from Austin on Fridays and Mondays at 9:30 a.m. and arrive in Indianapolis at 12:50 p.m. Flights depart Indianapolis on Mondays and Fridays at 10:50 a.m. and arrive in Austin at 12:25 p.m.

Destin and Indianapolis mark the third and fourth new, nonstop routes by Allegiant for Austin in 2017. The first two nonstop flights this year by Allegiant include Austin to Cleveland (CLE) and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), both starting on Feb. 17. Last December Allegiant started new, twice weekly, nonstop service from Austin to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT).
Allegiant air service debuted in Austin in October 2013 with nonstop flights to Las Vegas. Since then, other cities Allegiant has connected with Austin include Albuquerque, Memphis, Cincinnati, and Orlando.
