Comprehensive Housing Market Study

The City of Austin's Neighborhood Housing and Community Development (NHCD) Department issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) from research firms or individuals qualified and experienced in housing market data collection and analysis. One important aspect of the market study is to conduct research to provide the City of Austin current housing uses and trends in Austin.

The Housing Market Study will assist decision makers in the private, nonprofit and public sector as they make investments and contribute resources to guide development and redevelopment that will achieve more affordable housing opportunities throughout the City.

A vendor conference was held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Street-Jones Building located at 1000 East 11th Street, Suite 400A to answer questions about the Request for Proposal.
