Free Pet Wellness Fair

Does your dog or cat need a rabies vaccine plus some tender loving grooming? Then bring your pet to the Pet Wellness Fair Saturday, November 8th from 8 am-12 noon at Bartholomew Park located at 5201 Berkman Drive (near 51st Street). This free event is sponsored by the Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department’s Town Lake Animal Center and the Parks and Recreation Department. This free pet wellness fair will also include our partners such as Austin Humane Society, Animal Trustees of Austin, Emancipet, El Mundo, Mid Town Grooming as well as the American Kennel Club, Invisible Fence and Triple Crown.
Free Services for Dogs and Cats Include:
- Free rabies vaccination
- Free pet registration
- Free nail clipping and limited grooming
- Dog training demonstrations
- $3 custom pet id tags
- Free collars, leashes, pet food, pet toys and pet information
Vaccinations are only for dogs and cats 12 weeks of age and older. All pets get free registration tags and will be registered in our database so that your pet can be returned to you if it gets lost. Dogs must be on a leash, cats must be in carriers or secured in boxes with air holes and puppies should be brought in carriers or crates.
