Zero Waste Block Leader Orientation

Saturday, October 21, 2017 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

The Zero Waste Block Leader orientation is designed to educate our Zero Waste Block Leaders on Austin Resource Recovery's programs and services and how to connect with neighbors about Austin's Zero Waste goals to increase participation in recycling, composting, reducing & reusing materials. Learn how you can make a zero waste impact in your neighborhood!

Orientation is required of all Zero Waste Block Leaders. Once you have attended orientation, you will begin receiving communication, educational materials, invitations to tour facilities and to attend our Meetups, and much more!

We are alternating locations - one month we'll be at a northern location, the next we'll be at a southern location.

If you would like to attend an orientation located in South Austin, RSVP is available here.

If you would like to attend an orientation located in North Austin, RSVP is available here.

If you have any questions about the program, please get in touch with us! Our website is austintexas.gov/zerowasteblockleader or email us at block.leader@austintexas.gov.
