Join the Small & Minority Business Resources Department (SMBR) for Certification 101: An Overview of Minority- and Women-Owned Business Certifications.

Business Counselors will provide a summary of the various types of certifications available to business owners interested in government projects.

• Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) which is used for City funded projects and contracts
• Disadvantaged and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE/ACDBE) which is used for federally-funded aviation, highway and transportation projects
