2017 Grow Green Spring Homeowner Training Series: Landscape for Life™

Tuesday, May 9, 2017 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Landscape for Life™

Harness nature’s power to create a healthy, beautiful home landscape Conventional gardens often work against nature. They can damage the environment's ability to clean air and water, reduce flooding, and provide all the other natural benefits that support life on earth-including us. The good news is that even one home garden can begin to repair the web of life. It's possible to create a great–looking garden that's healthier for you, your family, your pets, and the environment-and that saves you time and money.

This is a hands-on, 9-hour, three-class series. Registration includes all three classes. The classes may not be taken individually.

  • Tuesday, May 9, 2017 - Sustainability and Soils - Tanya Zastrow, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Meredith Gray, Parks & Recreation and LaJuan Tucker, Parks & Recreation
  • Tuesday, May 16, 2017 - Water and Plants - Denise Delaney , Watershed Protection and LaJuan Tucker
  • Tuesday, May 23, 2017 - Materials and Next Steps - Christopher Sanchez, Parks & Recreation and LaJuan Tucker
