Waller Creek Flood Management and Water Quality Improvements Study

Summary
This study will develop a flood management plan for the lower Waller Creek watershed (W. 15th to Town Lake). Also, a water quality master plan for the entire Waller Creek watershed is to be prepared. Architectural review of the proposed improvements will be performed to ensure compatibility.
Status
On March 9, the City Council approved Loomis and Associates as the engineering consultant. The Draft Report was completed in November, 1995; the Final Report is due in January 1996.
Description
The details developed by the study will include the costs and economic benefits of the flood management and water quality plan. Evaluation of the plan will indicate the required funding for a future bond election or appropriation.
