The Wildfire division mitigates risk through fuel (vegetation) management by following the National Cohesive Strategy in restoring and maintaining resilient landscapes.
This is accomplished through reducing invasive plant species in a variety of methods including mechanical treatments and prescribed fire while preserving our delicate ecosystems.
