Cities across Texas are joining together to actively serve outstanding arrest warrants. While warrants are regularly served by each jurisdiction, this huge, combined effort provides much greater opportunities for warrant service. We are not announcing the date yet, so act now to avoid arrest. At this time, the entities currently participating are: List of Participants. If you have an outstanding warrant or a delinquent traffic, misdemeanor (Class C) citation, or delinquent parking citations the time to act is NOW. Many cities and courts have websites that will assist you with payments or options.
In conjunction with the roundup, cities with civil parking violations will be focusing on delinquent cases as well as delinquent camera at red light cases. Again, please take care of these violations now!
2014 Great Texas Warrant Roundup
The 2014 annual Great Texas Round Up kicked off on February 14, 2014 with a press release and news conference and the number of warrants resolved were tracked through March 8th. This year, 316 agencies across the state of Texas participated. Through combined efforts, over 133,000 warrants were cleared in a three week period.
