Municipal Court Location and Contact Information

You may call for information Monday - Friday (excluding weekends and holidays) from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

For your convenience, the Court has an Interactive Voice Response System, which allows you to obtain ticket information without speaking with an operator 24 hours a day.

Municipal Court Downtown Location

Location
The main building is located at 700 East 7th Street just west of Interstate 35. We are adjacent to the Police Station and the entrance faces 7th Street. If you are traveling to the court on I-35 from the south, take the 6th-12th Street exit. If you are traveling on I-35 from the north, take the 8th-3rd Street exit.

Free parking is available under the I-35 bridge across the access road from the Court. You can also pay and park at any of the street parking meters.

Operating hours at the main downtown location are:

Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Friday 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

We are closed on weekends and major holidays (Click here for the current holiday schedule)

A drop box for fine payments or to submit court documents is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The drop box is located on 7th Street, at the top of the handicapped ramp just before the main entrance for the building.

North Sub Station

The North Austin Customer Service location is 12425 Lamplight Village Avenue in the Police Substation. If you are traveling to this location from either I-35 or Mopac (Loop 1), take the Parmer exit.

South Sub Station

The South Austin Customer Service Center is located at 5700 Manchaca in the Cherry Creek Plaza. The Center is located on the corner of Stassney Lane and Manchaca in the former Department of Public Safety building.

From IH-35 take the Stassney exit. Travel west on Stassney to Manchaca. The Cherry Creek Plaza is located on the left. Click here for a map.
