BizAid Business Orientation

This no-cost class, offered in-person and online, serves as an introduction to resources available to small business owners as well as the various government agencies or organizations that you may need to reach out to along the way. It will get you introduced to the components of a business plan and various aspects of business development. This class would be beneficial as you begin to outline your business goals, whether you’re starting a new business or looking to expand.

 

BizOpen serves as a point of contact for small business owners seeking assistance navigating the City’s development process.

The Entrepreneur Center of Austin is a modern training facility where the Small Business Program conducts regular classes, workshops and other small business related training.

We look forward to seeing you for one of business education classes or other events - visit our small business classes and events calendar.

The Family Business Loan Program is a public-private partnership between the City of Austin, HUD, and participating private lenders to offer low-interest loans to qualified small businesses that are expanding and creating jobs. Our mission is to enable existing local businesses to expand and create jobs, revitalize communities, increase the tax base of the City of Austin, and enhance the overall quality of life for Austin residents.

As more and more people take to the web in search of businesses and services to meet their needs, the Small Business Program hopes to give locally-owned, small businesses a greater presence online, increasing their chances of attracting customers.
