Thank you to everyone who participated in the Central Texas Regional Open Data Expo!
We hope that this event provided everybody with valuable insight into government open data initiatives and invited opportunities for ongoing participation, collaboration and innovation across all sectors. We are excited that we have already heard of valuable collaborations that started from chance meetings that occurred during the Expo!
Visit the Prezi site to view the presentation from the Expo and other resources.
We expect this to be the first of many similar events—each focused on improving how we relate to one another and creating positive outcomes that benefit all. Some reminders of upcoming events and next steps:
- ATXHackforChange is happening May 31 – June 1 – Experience the energy of civic hacking! If you are unable to attend.
- Central Texas Regional Data Partners will be participating in a Hackathon expo the Texas Digital Government Summit June 16 -17
- The Partners will also be working on developing a website portal to post ideas, future events and collaboration opportunities. The summary of the May 20 Data Expo will be posted there and a link sent out to the distribution list once it's published.
Again, thank you. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or follow up. Stay tuned for more!
