The 100 Club of Central Texas sent a thank you email to praise officers who worked at McDonald's on Good Friday, April 3, 2015. They wrote: "Officer Stephen Woytkewicz is a true credit to the Austin Police Department and a role model for public service. We worked the drive-through at Barton Springs and Lamar, and he greeted every car with an enthusiastic speech in support of the 100 Club. In addition to that, he greeted every service member with an enthusiastic "thank you" and always went on to recruit them for the Austin Police Department. He spoke to several groups of teenagers, who were apprehensive about being stopped by an officer at McDonald's, and gave them positive feedback and again, recruited them for the Austin Police Department. He interacted with every child, giving each of them a police badge sticker, and thanking them for being his little deputies. He also spoke fluent Spanish to those customers who obviously did not have English as their primary language."
