Meet Phoenix a blue eyed beauty

Phoenix is a year-old pit bull mix with the most beautiful blue eyes you’ll ever see --unfortunately, they’re also a genetic indicator of deafness.

Phoenix is friendly, affectionate and happy with lots of energy. She is getting some training to improve her kennel and leash manners.

Come and meet this sweetheart at the Town Lake Animal Center, 1156 W. Cesar Chavez St., Kennel 31. The shelter is open daily 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
