Month of December 2014 - Old Bakery & Emporium Gift Shop and Art Museum  Tuesday - Saturday 9am - 4pm, FREE entry

Dec. 7-21Trail of Lights Event Nights 7pm - 10pm.  Trail of Lights is free to the public Monday - Thursday nights, and $3 a person Friday - Sunday.

Dec. 10 Christmas in the Community: Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center / Austin Symphony Christmas Concert.  7pm, FREE

Dec. 11Holiday Community Dinner at Givens Recreation Center.  6:30pm. FREE

Dec. 11Sankofa – “Art of Africa” at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center.  Reception:  6pm - 8pm.  Light refreshments will be served.  FREE

Dec. 12Blue Lapis Light Aerial Student Showcase at the Boyd Vance Theater in the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center.  $12 - $30 a ticket.

Dec. 13 Family Gingerbread Workshop at South Austin Recreation Center.  10am - 12pm FREE

Dec. 13 -  Christmas at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center.  2pm – 4pm, Arte del Corazón Opening Reception  FREE

Dec. 14Austin Zine Fest at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center.  Noon – 4pm.  Admission is FREE!

Dec. 16Festival of Trees and Keys of Life Christmas Recital at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center.  4:30pm – 7pm  FREE

Dec. 17The Austin Symphony presents Christmas in the Community at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center.  6:30pm FREE

Dec. 18Austin Symphony presents Christmas in the Community: Asian American  Resource Center.  1pm FREE
