Council Meetings

The Austin City Council conducts council meetings each Thursday unless otherwise specified. Council Agendas are available in html format along with the canceled council meeting dates schedule. Council committee and subcommittee agendas are also available. An index of past agendas involving the council is also available. Review the list of the canceled council meetings to confirm the meeting occurrence. The approved minutes of the City Council meetings are available in html format.

Austin City Council Rules and Procedures

On Aug. 7, 2003, the Austin City Council adopted new rules and procedures for conducting Council meetings. On July 17, 2003, the Council decided to no longer have Wednesday work sessions. The new Thursday format has meetings beginning at 10 a.m. The City Council meets Thursdays at City Hall, 301 W. 2nd Street.

Boards and Commissions Agendas

Select Boards and Commissions have meeting agendas posted on the Austin City Connection. A list of all of the Boards and Commissions meeting frequency is provided along with contact information to obtain an agenda.

Copies of all council documents are available from the City Clerk's Office which is located in City Hall at 301 W. 2nd Street (512-974-2210).
