Access Translation and Interpretation Services

The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. For assistance, please contact Austin Housing at 512-974-3100. The City receives and accepts Video Relay Service (VRS) calls from people who are Deaf or hard of hearing through Relay Texas 7-1-1.

New Income and Rent Limits

Review the updated HUD Income Limits and program-specific Rent Limits, effective June 1, 2026. 

Note: Staff anticipates 2027 rent rates will follow HUD limits and will include separate rent rates for efficiency and one-bedroom units. Staff will also consider establishing utility allowances.
